The photo is of Paul, Emma (age 3), and I at our son Nathan's funeral in 2001. We're shown having just released a big bunch of balloons. We continued to release balloons each year on Nathan's birthday until we opted for a more eco-friendly way of sending up our love...now we blow bubbles!
I'm capturing the sunbeam here -- it was fleeting and almost by the time I'd put away my camera, it had disappeared.
