Emma and the Amity Middle School Winter Guard participated in their first MAC (Musical Arts Conference) competition this past weekend.
They started in late fall and have lost practice time due to snow, so they'll be adding to their show as the season progresses.
They did great!
I watched them perform their routine to Fireflies by Owl City.
Oh, did I mention...
I used to twirl flags for the Southington High School
Blue Knights Marching Band?

Well...I used to twirl flags for the Southington High School Blue Knights Marching Band.
Uh, huh, yep, I sure did.
The inside joke here is that I felt a strong need
to tell people this fact and now I'm over it.
Or am I?
In any event, it's nice to see Emma enjoying "the sport of the arts."
