This well-loved, well-worn beauty is the prayer shawl made for me by Heather Eaton after my son, Nathan, died. Woven into the fringe are sweet, symbolic charms. This sentimental object continues to be a source of comfort to me and inspired me to make shawls for others in need of love and prayers.
